"Normally, I always receive fantastic haircuts that can warrant a price of $20.00+. However, when I visited this location today, it was not the case. I arrived with my Wife around 9:45 this morning and sat in the chair around 10 minutes later. I can't remember her name, but she was EXTREMELY sick. When I asked her if everything was OK, she stated she had allergies and that her forehead was warm. I was cautious from this point forward because I can't afford to get sick with my workload right now. Within the first 3 minutes (no small talk, just silence) she said "why did you cut your hair?" in a cold tone. When I replied "Can you elaborate?" she then told me "well your hair in the front is uneven and messy. It looks like you cut it.". At this point I was baffled because she saw me take off my hat when I sat in the chair, so she knew I had "hat hair". I replied "Well, I don't know how to cut hair which is why I am here, and it's probably because I slipped a hat on walking out the door." She didn't reply and just frowned. At this point I was pretty pissed off. The haircut continued and she kept coughing and coughing and even had to step away to go get her bottle of water. About 10 minutes later she looked at me in the mirror and said in a very rude tone" Jeez, your hair was hard to cut.." and I said "well I don't know what that means, but you're the first person to ever say, so maybe a coaching session is in order." Again ,she frowned and coughed up a lung. Additionally, she left the sides a little long, and the top VERY long. My wife when walking out said "did she even do anything to the top? It looks the exact same. This warrants a complaint" . Normally, I would go back and explain to her, and her manager, why she needs a coaching session in customer service, but I had a plane to catch and simply did not have the time. Hence why I am taking the time to write this review while on vacation. Nothing was said to me when I was paying. Not a thank you for the $5.00 tip I gave you for doing a poor job, or a come see us again.. Very disappointed as I have to live with this hair cut for another 2 weeks. Note to management: When an employee comes in this sick, you need to send them home regardless of what she/he says. Also, the system you have to select a tip amount creates a sense of pressure for the customer to give a tip they may or may not want to give. Reason being is that the employee is 3ft away staring at the screen if they get a tip or not, and if so, how much. This kind of obligates the customer into giving a tip even if they don't want too. It was better in the past when you had to sign the receipt and hand it back. This way it gives you more control and less pressure on the tip amount. Will not give Sport Clips any of my business unless management reaches out to confirm this has been addressed."

"I usually only to go Sports Clips when I’m in a pinch, and am always expecting an average to below average hair cut when I do go, but that was not the case this time. I’m going to butcher her name, but Julissa was awesome. She really took her time and listened to everything I wanted. The end result was better than haircuts I’ve spent twice as much for. I’ll be driving out my way to go back. I’m used to spending closer to $40 on a haircut, I’m happy to pay the business half that and let the stylist take the rest of savings as tip, it’s worth it."

"The staff here was amazing! I am from Dallas and I am visit here for the weekend, compared to the locations in Dallas, I felt that this place was top of the line. My stylist was asking questions to make sure I was happy. She was super personable and did a great job. She upgraded my to MVP, just because she was frustrated with the Dallas locations not providing a good service!"

"The cut for my son was pretty good. Shorter than we asked but good quality. However, my son had his hair washed with cold water and got not hot towel. When I pay $22 for a haircut at Sport clips, I expect something better, including a hot towel. I probably won't be going back again since the hot towel is the whole reason I would go to sport clips, & getting your hair washed not in cold water is kind of a bare minimum."
